Yes the steam open access is huge and could potentially bring in thousands of players. Someone told me Ascend did crazy numbers in the beginning so I am expecting the same from Midair if not more. I'll post a more detailed reply later with the new features of the game and things that I like/dislike ...

Yes it is a tribes like game.
Has similarities of T1, T2, and Ascend.
Yes they have an air vehicle right now very similar to the shrike in T2 and I believe they are going to be adding more.

I play it every once and while and would play more but almost all games played right now are pickup games which require you to meet the other players in chat, then in TeamSpeak to pick teams and positions... the gameplay in those matches are very competitive and all players who play right now are ve...
