Obviously, if I knew the quality of the original files, I wouldn't bother converting it to something better, as that would be a pointless waste of disc space, however, I've got no clue what quality the original files were, so I figure the best quality is least likely to make the new files sound wor...

My, yes of course! Let us just convert these sounds to 48KHz with stereo sound, because that will surely magically increase the quality! Hell, why don't we make 24/96 while we are at it, just because we can!

For tribes it's better to have 16:10 monitor, because of extensive use of z axis. I play with 1920x1200, but next time im buying monitor i'll buy 2560x1600.
