Thanks for your service! We'll miss you!

Unless you're joining the ISIL army, in which case, I hope you get raped in Guantanamo.

Yes, Thank You for Your Service! My father put in over 30 yrs. (drafted right out of High School) Then retired and joined another company ran by the city that is ran very similar like the service, and retired from that also.

Take care, good luck, and watch yourself please. You will usually have the weekends off, unless you pull any type of guard duty, but you'll probably be out doing things, but if not, we will still be here ;)

Oh, sorry, didn't understand exactly what Erowid posted till you reposted browneyes, but you will be IN the Korean Army! Well, still your country Thanks You for Your Service! And yes Erowid, you are correct, you don't get time off like we do here in the United States. You get time off when Command let's you. You can be on the line there in that country for a month at a time before you change guard on the boarder, and when they change guard then could be off for a week or another month, depending on the situations. Yes, it's very different there. I still wish you the best!

I saw a documentary about North Korea, which said American troops on the border must be at least 6 feet tall, so they think we're all that tall and get intimidated... So I guess I'm not tall enough to ride that roller coaster...
