A sad day for Aviation and Football

Chapecoense is a team originated in a small city and had a notable good performance in the last years, reaching the highest level in the Brazilian championship and frequently defeating strong and traditional teams. They were competing in the South American championship (something unexpected for a small team) and were going to play a match in the final of the league tomorrow. Almost all the players and many staff members were killed in that plane crash in Colombia this morning. I'm not a fan of that team, but I can imagine how heavy is the loss for the loyal fans. RIP.

Yeah, I was actually up when this was reported. 6 survivors that were thrown from the fuselage. The San Antonio Spurs tonight before their game held a moment of silence for them.

Fans of Atletico Nacional (the team Chapecoense was going to face) and the Colombian air force made this homage yesterday. They made a point of writting the messages in portuguese and singing "vamos Chape" :|
