Well, that's not true... I specifically want a seaplane.

Specifically, this one:



That plane goes about 150 MPH, with a 300 mile range, so 2 hours +/-...

Every year, I drive between NC and RI... It takes 12 hours, and 3 pit stops for fuel, in my car.
In that seaplane, I could make the trip in 4 hours with 1 pit stop to refuel.

My car has a 16 gallon tank, that plane has a 20 gallon tank... So that's about $12 more per fillup, but they both use the same type of gasoline.

Actually, I'd probably spring for the premium gas, if I could afford that plane.
Plus it's a fucking seaplane... How awesome is that?

But how is propelled?
Is it jet? 130 kts seems awfully slow for jet.
