I know, that's what's making the decision so hard...

I like all of those suggestions, lol.

Maybe I'll call it Bacon, so it's between Annihilation and Base when sorted alphabetically.

Use Beacons:
  • Ammo pack + light armor = deploys camera
  • Ammo pack + medium armor = deploys turret
  • Ammo pack + Heavy armor = deploy inventory pack

    Energy pack + Light armor = ?
    Energy pack + Medium armor = ?
    Energy pack + Heavy armor = ?

    Repair pack + Light armor = ?
    Repair pack + Medium armor = ?
    Repair pack + Heavy armor = ?
  • Sensor jammer pack + Light armor = Astral Projection (fake death, ghost around, teleport to observer camera)
    Sensor jammer pack + Medium armor = ?
    Sensor jammer pack + Heavy armor = ?

    Shield pack + Light armor = Hologram (deploys decoy AI with random waypoints and same item loadout as you, possibly including a fake flag).
    Shield pack + Medium armor = Drop shield (deploys a shield generator, that shields all friendly objects within range)
    Shield pack + Heavy armor = Armor lock (temporarily makes you immobile, and indestructible).
  • Else = deploy default beacon

Use Packs:
  • Ammo pack: Detonator (mounts like repairgun, pull trigger to detonate all of your mines).
  • Energy pack: Booster
  • Repair pack: Repair gun
  • Sensor jammer pack: Jams sensors
  • Shield pack: Activates shields
Use weapons (secondary mode):
  • Blaster: Bird Shot (Shotgun)
    Chaingun: Incendiary (Vulcan)
    Disc launcher: Boomerang (Wire guided rocket that comes back if it doesn't collide with anything, and returns ammo)
    Elf gun: ?
    Grenade Launcher: Drone Launcher (OS Launcher from Annihilation)
    Laser Rifle: ?
    Mortar: ?
    Plasma gun: Napalm gun (Like Flame Thrower from Annihilation)
    Targeting laser: ?
Do you guys have any suggestions to replace the question marks, or better ideas to replace the other things?

Due to a lack of ideas (coder's block?), I've decided to simplify my mod, a bit...

Instead of having 16 different beacons (depending on armor+pack), I've narrowed it down to 6 (just depending on pack).

Use Beacon:
  • AmmoPack = TurretPack
  • EnergyPack = AirBrake (Like Rogue Angel's beacons in Annihilation)
    RepairPack = Grapple (Planning to copy code from Vengeance mod)
  • SensorJammerPack = Astral Projection (ghost around for up to 3 seconds, and teleport to observer camera)
    ShieldPack = Hologram (deploy AI with matching armor and Item Loadout (possibly including a fake flag)
  • else DefaultBeacon
The default beacon has been replaced with a camera turret, which (when fired by remote control) will self destruct and teleport its controller to its location.

I also intend to add some items to the vehicle station, such as deployable teleport stations (which will have the same teleport functionality as both command stations and default beacons, but will not self destruct after each use), and a drop ship beacon (which will call a drop ship down from the sky). These features will be unavailable during missions without vehicle stations.

The rest of the previous update is still the same.
