Yeah definitely 6th or 7th alteast. That Japanese game looked pretty good.

No way... Man... Tribes should be number 1 most influential.

All of the other games had one reason each to be influential...

For instance: Metal Gear was influential for being covert (aka boring as fuck).

Meanwhile, Tribes was influential for at least three reasons: Online only gameplay, jet packs, skiing...

I would say 2 or 3, but Tribes definitely taught people how to build maps, and how to make a game fast paced. when you force people to go air born and give them a way to travel quickly, you can speed up any game process.
