i'm working a custom titan.dml for the hirezfix but i can't get it to work when i host a game.

how do I do a dedicated on 1.4?

I think the flag would of been better on top of the base though, instead of inside.

Very nice S_hift, I could see that flag as being very hard to get, maybe what Crow's thinkin too? On the other hand it most likely wouldn't be one of those quick cap out maps. Dunno you about have to play them to see I guess. Nice though, like the design.

well its basically like snipers dream just different sky and no objective switch. The bases are facing eachother and the starting spawn points are on the top flat part of the base. So its more of a stand off style map were team1 and team2 try to swoop inside and grab the flag.

I setup the flag for minimal clipping, it does look like a lot of things to get stuck on but i doubt anyone will fly near them.

edit: I'm going to make a version with bigger hills and place the flag on the front deck area by the plasma turrets.

Honestly I like it inside. The roof could be cool, but unless you get up on an airbase or spawn rush a lot it would be impossible to kill sunken defense that's up there. Maybe make some slopes with shapes to smooth out the area where the flag is now, making the floor level and covering the terrain as well. Someone could deploy bunkers in there and clog up the area.

Anyways added the current version and ghosts maps so we can test it tonight.

thats why i put the round bunkers under the flag. those push you right up and out when you fly into it. kinda of like the flag stand does except its not a radical boost it should be just enough to let you smoothly fly in and out.

but frankly I wanted people to use a little more skill when capping instead of just holding space to win like they would on snipers dream. I also wanted the flag to seem like a sacred artifact to each team :)

hope this one plays out better than crossfire. I'm currently working on a new crossfire map using the same terrain and different bases. The main problem people seemed to have was navigating the base and it caused a lot of grief among players and myself. I am ashamed that this map played quite poorly and I will make sure it is fixed.
