is there a Back Ground Music script for Tribes1?

Post by browneyes »

As you guys know, Tribes1 has no BGM.

from old times, i'm longing for play T2's bgm in Tribes1.

is there any script works for it?

e.g. if map terrain of T1 is lush now, play lush theme music of T2.

if it is unrealizable, can someone make Random BGM script for T1?

You can always download the Tribes soundtrack and have it playing in the background while you frag.

The original tribes cd-rom had music tracks on it, and the game played them while you played.

I know there is a setting in the config, to turn it on and off.

I'm not sure if it verifies the CD, or if it will play music from any CD.

I believe it plays any CD. Maybe use a Virtual CDROM or a custom script. This sounds like a great idea.

The CD thing doesn't work in 1.40. The option is there but I just tried it and nothing played.

Be really nice if selecting play background music, merely played a playlist of your own music files (files in a folder). THAT would be like titties and beer! Or the CD music option was converted to play mp3, wav, etc.

from what i can see, andrew removed the cd playing support (redbookplugin) that existed in previous versions :\

I've been toying around with an MP3 plugin lately, it works fine, just having trouble adding the commands to tribes...

could probably also re-integrate the redbook plugin but i figger Mp3 makes more sense

Currently, no. Unless someone puts together a new plugin or restores the previous functionality.
