Fog color should compliment the skybox and overall map aesthetic. Orange sunset skybox should have orange'sh fog, lush blue skybox should have blue'sh fog, etc. White generally works on any map since it blends in with whatever color, but it doesn't hurt to tweak the RGB values a tad.
