Annihilation community soundpack 2015

Death666 and I were talking about how the 5150 pack sorely needs an update. So I'm willing to collect all the sounds, edit them and such and make the player chat menu but I want it to be a community project so everyone gets their sound clips they want into the pack.

Note that I am not changing the 5150 pack (or Ultramonkey, which I would love if someone could convert that pack to 1.40) or the original Tribes voices. Just want a different variety of sounds in here from movies/video games/tv/memes/whatever from the past 12 years since I believe 5150 ends at around 2003. We all love the 5150 pack. You can keep the original 5150 pack in your Tribes folder and set it's menu (or this new pack) to control + v or another key.

I also want to limit music...if enough people vote to have music in the pack, then we'll do it.

So... use this thread I guess to suggest things? .Wav files or youtube videos would be great (I can convert them to .ogg), and try to find higher quality stuff.

Stuff I am focusing on first...from my old Ultramonkey 2.0 pack I created almost 10 years ago: iconic video game sound effects like the mario one-up, solid snake's "!" detected sound, borderlands "catch a ride", stuff like that. I also want it to be more organized, kinda like Ultramonkey was.

Thanks for posting that Erowid. Ultramonkey was my goto script everytime I reinstalled Tribes.

Anyone else interested in this? Was thinking making this an Anni-centric pack as well with commands like "Necro ghost incoming!" and "We need more neuro bashers!"

Need "ghost reporting" from starscraft. And anything from There Will Be Blood. I'm sure I can think of a bunch of good movie quotes to add. Most are probably clips on youtube. Also anything that helps string together other sayings is always good.

Yeah good sound there. I had an idea to run trib pngs through deep dream and changing all the sounds to 432hz
