because I've been asked which program I use to edit textures and I use Photoshop, but not everyone has a PS.
I found a good online alternative to Photoshop that works with PSD files, just like PS.

We need some more HD skies. They are just panels of a larger image so I think they are really easy to make

The textures for sky no problem, just how do you put them together exactly?
I remember there was a program that did exactly that, but I don't remember the name anymore.

are the texture sizes limited?
256x512 only?
cuz i have problem to understand some sky textures are 256x1024
some other 256x512, and other 128x128 of what is that pending, possible from the respective map?
