I've heard from many people that once upon a time the vehicles were faster. then they got slowed down, then sped up again, then really slowed down. For one thing, the bomber should be a bit faster. Bumping up the max speed would be a good start, possibly bumping up the accel a tiny bit wouldnt hurt. to offset we could tweak the mass and drag a bit so it isnt like a rocket

There has been a lot of tweaking of the vehicle speeds and maneuverability... I think they're pretty good, now.
