Even so what complicates things is that both armors are used for outdoor combat, but one is supposed to be a flag capping armor as well and the other is supposed to be used for infiltrating bases to return flags or get past defense. There just really isn't a good beacon ability that works for how people play those armors. Invisibility did the job okay, but then you have people who can turn it off so that's pretty lame and being sniped by invisible players is lame as well. The shielding is actually pretty good, it's just too strong the way it currently works.

Yes, because both armors have a lot of energy, which the shield uses in lieu of damage.

This is why I suggested astral projection for necro, to help it sneak around and hide. And a concussion grenade that temporarily renders for unconscious for chameleon, to help it neutralize a room full of heavies.

Both abilities work for up to 4 seconds, which I think is far more balanced than jailgun and stasis spell, or nearly impenetrable Shields.
