Can it affect and perhaps tilt the outcome of scores and match? Was it meant for that use? If it wasn't intended to be used in the way it's being used and is giving an unfair advantage to an opponent(s) therby altering the "BALANCE" of the game it should be considered a cheat. Perhaps the glitch or glitches can be removed or dealt with via coding. Sure it might be thought of as a clever placement and trick but never when a good match is going on. Balance is key to a fair and fun game.

We should really talk about the worst cheat of all... running software when you can easily run openGL.

Ehem, Erowid it's kind of hard to run OpenGL when some of the Triber's video cards don't even support it. I think S_hift's video card can't even handle OpenGL.

What I meant when I said "when you can easily run openGL" I was speaking to the people who could run openGL but choose not to.

Yes, a lot of processors come with onboard graphics although they are very low performance. That aside I'm sure the ivy/sandy-bridge onboard graphics are still miles ahead of anything from the pentium lines.

This (likely) stems from being able to access an inventory station where you weren't really supposed to. You place one so it mostly sticks outside the wall, go Necro with a ghost pack through the wall, access the inventory station and voila. That's the real issue, imo. Fix inventories from working through walls (but not blast walls!) and this will likely go away.

I've seen this done a number of times on CanyonCrusade.
